Belt Conveyor Table

The cutting frame stays stationary as the foam moves along a conveyor. This is a motorised positioning belt engineered to move the foam accurately and precisely throughout the cutting process.

Block Detection

A set of sensors that allow the cutting frame to automatically position itself to the front edge of the block. This saves the operator from manually positioning the machine at the start of each cutting job. This feature is standard with this model.

Compatible with a Selection of Blades

OPTIONAL CONFIGURATIONS

This powered arm holds the centre of the blade to improve the accuracy and speed when cutting small high-density foam blocks. It automatically and seamlessly integrates with the cutting motion. The centre guide also has twist action to match the gearboxes and does not interfere with the blade rotation mechanism.

This is a set of motorised rollers that lightly press down on the block to stabilise the material during cutting. Their movement is synchronised with the conveyor belt speed and sit adjacent to the blade. The device can be safely parked on the machine when not in use.

These conveyors automate the entry and exit of foam so the operator does not need to remain at the machine during these processes. They provide a full process-line functionality to the machine to maximise productivity. Some factories have a single operator running three machines because of this feature.

A turntable is a thin flat platform that easily snaps to the top of the conveyor belt. It positions the block of foam throughout the cutting process; it can also be rotated manually 90˚ in between cuts. This allows more complex 3D shapes to be cut, easily emulating convoluted contours. The turntable can be kept on the machine or quickly detached and stored when not in use.

The existing nesting function in Wintech’s Profiler software allows efficient nesting of a single shape. The AutoNEST software option can be used in conjunction with the Profiler software for more efficient nesting where variable quantities of different shapes are required in a single cutting job.

The digitiser tablet can be used for tracing around existing shape templates or actual shapes, creating drawings to be used in the Wintech Profiler software. The drawings can then be conveniently stored on the computer, ready for regular production jobs. This option is ideal for first-time CNC companies, who is looking to automate their manual production flow.

Popular Uses

Custom Contours
The horizontal blade is the most common cutting orientation. The blade’s wide range of movement makes the machine a reliable workhorse. Cut custom shapes with computer-controlled accuracy, to ensure quick and quality results every time.
Peeling
Turn a block of foam into a single long sheet with a “peel” or spiral cut. Peel any shape — circle, square and even oblong — with minimal product waste. This is included as a standard cut in the software; simply enter the desired peel thickness.
Sheeting
The blade can cut on both passes, allowing a block of foam to be quickly sliced into sheets of equal or varying thicknesses. The software also compensates for the thickness of the blade, so all cuts are done with incredible accuracy.

FAQs

Small machines can simply be wheeled into a shipping container and secured. Larger machines must be dismantled to fit into a container. On arrival at the factory a Wintech technician will come to assemble and commission the machine, and train the operator.

Wintech provides a 12 month / 2000 hours warranty on all machines.

Wintech has authorised agents around the world who have their own service technicians.

Wintech manufactures and supplies a range of blades suitable for a variety of applications.

The machines themselves can operate in a wide range of temperatures. The control cabinet housing the computer and electronics is air-conditioned and pressurised to provide dust isolation. In extremely hot, cold or dusty factories we recommend placing the control cabinet in a separate temperature controlled operator booth.
