Fastwire is an abrasive wire machine that is effectively a wire saw. They feature a high-speed electric motor driving an abrasive wire that can cut through a variety of material types. Most popular is the Horizontal configuration, although Vertical and Dual Axis machines are also available.

An Abrasive Wire For Every Job
Each wire type created for our Fastwire profiling machines is designed to cut a different form of material. A Wintech standard wire wrap has a single outer wrap that allows it to cut most foam types. The Wintech S-Wrap has a lazy helix under the outer wrap; hence, it is suitable for cutting high-density foam and flexible foam. The Wintech X wrap is more aggressive and is best suited for high-density rigid foams and for high cutting rates.
Simple Operation & Maintenance
The operating system of the Fastwire contour cutting machine is user-friendly, designed by operators for operators. Wintech Engineers create both the machines and their systems. The robust Fastwire requires minimal maintenance, needing only occasional replacement of bearings or timing belts. Wires and wheels can be easily replaced.
Powerful
The powerful abrasive wires can cut through a wide range of materials, including any type of foam and even non-foam materials. Different wire styles are available for high-quality cuts, even in dense foams.
CNC Contour Cutter Automation Packages
Automation packages for Wintech Fastwire CNC Contour Cutters include options such as automatic Block Detection, Conveyor-top Tables and Infeed/Exit Feed Tables, which can be integrated into the control software.

Fully Automated Cutting
Wintech machines are fully automated CNC cutters, ensuring accuracy and repeatability while eliminating manual errors, slow turnovers and operational risks. One operator can easily load a cutting drawing on the computer and start the cut. It can run subsequent jobs automatically for unattended operation and shut off at the end of a job/queue.
Flexible Floorplans and Operation
Wintech machines are operated from a control cabinet that designs and stores all the drawings along with a user-friendly interface. Operators can control the machine via a touch screen, keyboard, or mouse while maintaining a safe distance. Additionally, a wireless 18-key remote handset offers flexibility for quick positioning and manual cutting.
Powerful User-Friendly Software
Wintech machines operate on Windows and feature our in-house built proprietary Profiler software for enhanced capabilities. They include pre-loaded cuts (geometric shapes, letters, numerals), powerful importing options, customisable presets, and a native drawing interface. An optional digitiser is available for tracing paper drawings and templates, making them user-friendly for all.
