In the early 1990s, Wintech patented the Oscillating Blade process for cutting flexible foam. These machines feature a thin, sharp blade pulled backward and forward at high speeds. Unlike a Band Knife, the Oscillating Blade can twist without limits. This versatile machine is capable of making extremely intricate cuts, convolute shapes, and even spiral cuts from a roll.

Wintech's Oscillating Blade machines enhance factory safety with real-time monitoring of oil level, air pressure, blade tension, and proximity via Wintech's Profiler CNC software. They feature warning lights, an E-stop relay that cuts power within 3 seconds, and patented “Wing Doors” protecting the cutting zone, which competitors have attempted to copy.

Fully Automated Cutting
Wintech machines are fully automated CNC cutters, ensuring accuracy and repeatability while eliminating manual errors, slow turnovers and operational risks. One operator can easily load a cutting drawing on the computer and start the cut. It can run subsequent jobs automatically for unattended operation and shut off at the end of a job/queue.
Flexible Floorplans and Operation
Wintech machines are operated from a control cabinet that designs and stores all the drawings along with a user-friendly interface. Operators can control the machine via a touch screen, keyboard, or mouse while maintaining a safe distance. Additionally, a wireless 18-key remote handset offers flexibility for quick positioning and manual cutting.
Powerful User-Friendly Software
Wintech machines operate on Windows and feature our in-house built proprietary Profiler software for enhanced capabilities. They include pre-loaded cuts (geometric shapes, letters, numerals), powerful importing options, customisable presets, and a native drawing interface. An optional digitiser is available for tracing paper drawings and templates, making them user-friendly for all.
