A solid introduction to automated cutting
Fixed Table
The cutting frame moves along a fixed table, which is built in a range of sizes. Compact sizes are ideal for small spaces, while broader sizes can increase productivity by cutting two or more blocks at a time.
Compatible with a Selection of Wires
Two different wire sizes have been tested for compatibility and performance with this model. A description and purpose of each wire type can be found on our spare parts page.
OPTIONAL CONFIGURATIONS
A set of sensors that allow the cutting frame to automatically position itself to the front edge of the block. This saves the operator from manually positioning the machine at the start of each cutting job.
A powered turntable is a rotating platform that is built into the table top. It can automatically rotate the block of foam in between cuts. This allows more complex 3D shapes to be cut, easily emulating convoluted contours.
The existing nesting function in Wintech’s Profiler software allows efficient nesting of a single shape. The AutoNEST software option can be used in conjunction with the Profiler software for more efficient nesting where variable quantities of different shapes are required in a single cutting job.
The digitiser tablet can be used for tracing around existing shape templates or actual shapes, creating drawings to be used in the Wintech Profiler software. The drawings can then be conveniently stored on the computer, ready for regular production jobs. This option is ideal for first-time CNC companies, who is looking to automate their manual production flow.

This model can hold multiple cutting wires, allowing a block of foam to be sliced into multiple sheets in a single pass. The wires can be spaced to create sheets of equal or varying thickness.
Stage, Craft & Themework
This is a great entry-level machine for craftsman looking to automate aspects of their production. It can be used to cut intricate designs created on the computer or in conjunction with a hand-held hotwire tool that carves finishing touches from a base shape.

FAQs
Small machines can simply be wheeled into a shipping container and secured. Larger machines must be dismantled to fit into a container. On arrival at the factory a Wintech technician will come to assemble and commission the machine, and train the operator.
Wintech provides a 12 month / 2000 hours warranty on all machines.
Wintech has authorised agents around the world who have their own service technicians.
Wintech manufactures and supplies a range of wires suitable for a variety of applications.
The machines themselves can operate in a wide range of temperatures. The control cabinet housing the computer and electronics is air-conditioned and pressurised to provide dust isolation. In extremely hot, cold or dusty factories we recommend placing the control cabinet in a separate temperature controlled operator booth.
