Automatic Wire Loading & Positioning
The Standard computer-controlled Compuset post is fitted with 20 wires, these are attached and stored out of the way until needed. Any number of wires can then be automatically loaded, positioned, or unloaded by the computer depending on job requirements. An upgrade to 40 wires is also available.
Fixed Table
Our Fixed Table machines are available in a range of sizes to suit the work and operational needs of our customers. Compact sizes are ideal for small spaces, while broader sizes can increase productivity by cutting multiple blocks at a time.
High-quality bearings allow the cutting frame to move along the long edge of the table.
Manual Tilt Adjustment
To increase the accuracy and quality of cut when sheeting a block of foam, the cutting frame can be tilted to ensure a clean cut as the wires exit the block. Our Wintech Profiler software compensates for the angle of tilt to ensure accurate thickness of each sheet.
Integrated Blower System
This feature circulates air along the cutting wire, cooling the area around the wire prevents overheating which can lead to wire breakage or damage to the block edge.
Compatible with a Selection of Wires
Two different wire sizes have been tested for compatibility and performance with this model. A description and purpose of each wire type can be found on our spare parts page.
OPTIONAL CONFIGURATIONS
A set of sensors automatically positions the cutting frame at the front edge of the block. This provides labor efficiencies by saving the operator from manually positioning the machine at the start of each cutting job.
The cutting frame can be upgraded with a pneumatically powered tilting mechanism that is controlled from the control cabinet. When sheeting a block of foam, tilting the cutting frame is recommended to ensure a clean cut when the wires exit the block. The software compensates for the angle of tilt to produce an accurate thickness of each sheet.
A powered, rotating platform built into the tabletop automatically rotates the block of foam between cuts. This allows more complex 3D shapes to be cut, easily emulating convoluted contours.
This attachment is ideal for companies cutting mainly EPS foam but also has occasional quantities of rigid or semi-rigid foam to cut. Combining cutting technologies is a unique Wintech offering. Read more about combo cutters.
This increases the potential production output by doubling the number of cuts the machine can make in one pass. Increase the standard 20 wire Compuset posts to hold up to 40 automatically loaded wires.
AutoNEST is optional software that can be used in conjunction with Wintech Profiler to increase the efficiency of nesting when variable quantities of different shapes are required in a single cutting job.
A digitiser tablet provides the ability to trace around existing templates or actual shapes, which then creates the drawings to be used by the Wintech Profiler software. The drawings can be stored on the computer for regular production jobs. This is an ideal option for new CNC owners looking to automate their manual production flow.

FAQs
Small machines can simply be wheeled into a shipping container and secured. Larger machines must be dismantled to fit into a container. On arrival at the factory a Wintech technician will come to assemble and commission the machine, and train the operator.
Wintech provides a 12 month / 2000 hours warranty on all machines.
Wintech has authorised agents around the world who have their own service technicians.
Wintech manufactures and supplies a range of wires suitable for a variety of applications.
The machines themselves can operate in a wide range of temperatures. The control cabinet housing the computer and electronics are air-conditioned and pressurized to provide dust isolation. In extremely hot, cold, or dusty factories we recommend placing the control cabinet in a separate temperature-controlled operator booth.
